Review of Treasure vs. Butterfly Match
By Ole Deacon
For those of us who love fem vs. fem combat sports we have reconciled ourselves to big build ups then sad disappointments. Such as Honii vs. Remi, Remi vs. Myra, Nad and her first outdoor fight in Canada then there is dear sweet Afrika who had to resign her living to “pro-wrestling”. Even The Mighty Tigra vs. Sheri from the UK ended abruptly because of a technical difficulty; I still don’t know who won to this day?
However every once in a while a match comes alone that does not disappoint and that was the battle between the Butterfly and Treasure. At the time Butterfly had more experience on the mat but I think Treasure had more experience “around the way”.
First Fall: They immediately went after each other both obviously confident she could take the other down. They were right the toppled to the mat and struggled for supremacy which ultimately belonged to Treasure who established that upper lower and middle body superiority was hers and hers alone. After a few accidental choke maneuvers Treasure ended the fall with a Back-Mounted Full Nelson Face Press that Butterfly could not break and had to verbally submit to.
Second Fall: Treasure showed Butterfly and all viewers that she was mistress over Butterfly’s body by rolling Butterfly into an Inverted Braves Bow Backbreaker hold which was reminiscing of a UniverSoul Circus contortionist performance which caused the Afro-Latin beauty to stutter a nearly unintelligible submission.
Third Fall: The back-n-forth struggle was exciting even though I knew the eventual outcome would be the seemingly meta-human Treasure overcoming the powerful Butter. (One must understand the at “WomanvsWoman” Butterfly is the BBB but when faced with the Dahomeyan (African super women who fought the French to a stand-still and forced them to call reinforcements from the French Foreign Legion) power of Mistress Treasure Butterfly was forced to fold her wings. Though this fall was not the sexiest it was the most humiliating because the producer was so stunned by Treasure’s onslaught that he submitted for Butterfly.
The move was a simple but immobilizing Mounted Back Body Press.
Don’t get me wrong Butterfly initiated a series of impressive power moves and counter moves such as slams, flips, body scissors, power bridge positions, inverted body presses, leg locks, guards and reverse guards etc but they were all countered by the Mighty Treasure.
Fourth Fall: At this point Treasure began to experiment with all the holds she knew and all the hold she had seen and could make up and Butterfly only escaped at Treasure’s leisure. Usually this occurred when Treasure wanted to try a new hold. This ended with Treasure’s excruciating Upper Body Scissors; Butterfly could only grunt and tap out her submission.
Fifth Fall: Treasure developed a reverse grapevine akinned to the maneuver Sherri used to hold off the onslaught of the Mighty Tigra. Butterfly tried desperately to break the hold but only fell prey to Treasure’s powerful thighs which pressed her from her belly button to her delicate jawbone until she tapped again grunting like an abdominally bound infant.
Finally : Time ran out and the game Butterfly was spared another defeat.
Rumor has it that no other females at “WomanvsWoman” will wrestle Treasure after her first vist. Can you blame them? ;-)
