I previously reviewed Battling Beauties T27 Sunny Brawlers which earned the coveted 10 Star rating. It was that stupendous. These two ladies certainly put on a great show. I was so impressed, I also picked up this tape, T23 Battling Blondes. This tape was produced much earlier than Sunny Brawlers so the ladies' skills are still developing so I wanted to see how they perform then. Was I in for a surprise! A pleasant one at that! This match is set in the small indoor ring. Like I mentioned in other reviews of Battling Beauties tapes, the first time you see this ring you ask yourself, "What the hell can they do in THIS little thing". Watch, you'll be amazed! This whole match is broken down into three rounds, and just like I usually do, I'll leave some aspect of the winning hold or who wins out of the review because some people prefer to have that as a surprise when they purchase the video.
The match starts off with the venerable Becca introducing the match between Lee (always a fan favourite) and Diana who's not impressed at all by Lee's fan following. Becca announces the match as pro style, no disqualification 30 minute match. She goes on to tell us that she personally doesn't care who wins the match just as long as they don't embarrass her since she's the one who trained them. (gulp!) Becca can have a very mean look when she wants to, and she usually does in the ring. Both gals are brought in to agree to the rules. Breaking off to their respective corners to remove their jackets. Diana is wearing a skin hugging velvet like one piece while Lee is wearing a more traditional material one piece outfit as well. No sooner does Lee turn her back on the equally gorgeous blonde Diana that she's attacked and has her head rammed into the top corner buckle, her coat still wrapped around her and trapping her arms in. Diana shoulder tackles the stunned little blonde and delivers several short but deep penetrating jabs to Lee's lower abs. Ripping the jacket off of her stunned opponent, Diana uses it to start choking Lee. Right from the start the action is fierce and ferocious. And *I* thought I was going to be seeing some 'amateurs getting started in the business' type match! Wow. It turns out they've had some intensive training already and are getting the hang of it pretty early on!
Diana whips Lee to the ropes and Lee's arms are draped over the top and behind the ropes, hooking her arms back. Diana rushes in and pummels her in the abs and drops some huge kicks to the guts. Lee is left dangling there all dazed and confused. Diana grabs Lee by the head and snap mares her up and over the come crashing to the mat where she's subjected to crippling body scissors. Howling and screaming from Diana's crushing thighs, she's repeated keister bounced. Unable to break the hold, Lee is flipped over in a creative pin hold while still in the scissors which she is able to roll out of. Diana once again pulls her up by the blonde hair and crashes Lee into the corner buckles a couple of times. Diana has a look of evil glee on her face as she's got the upper hand this early in the match. Both their screams and expressions are superb throughout the match. Diana gets Lee off her feet again and arm locks her soliciting loud painful screams from the smaller gal. Diana works over Lee's arm for a few minutes, even grinding her knee into Lee's side to add to her collection of aches and pains. Diana continues her onslaught as she yanks Lee up off the mat and drapes the hapless blonde across her knee in a excruciating back breaker. Lee is helpless to defend against Diana's fists and elbows crashing into the stretched abs. If that wasn't bad enough, Diana flips Lee over so that she is face down across her knee. Diana viscously attacks Lee's back and kidney area with punches and elbows and claw holds. Poor Lee can only hang on and scream her head off! Finally dropped off onto the mat, Lee is once again pulled up and thrown into the corner and rammed with several body crushing shoulder tackles. Dazed and hurt, Lee is directed to the ropes where she's hung up to receive several more hits and kicks. Diana delivers a stunning low blow to Lee that literal drops her hanging from the ropes, hurt and shocked at the hit. Diana has no problems with playing dirty and continues to pummel her opponent until she is completely dazed and hurt. Poor Lee is put through the ringer as Diana viscously assaults her with various hits and holds until Diana wins the first round.
The second round finds Lee still in pain and still pissed off about the low blow by Diana. Unfortunately the taller Diana muscles her into the corner for some more hits and a snap mared to the mat once again. More pummeling in the corner and in the ropes for Lee; almost looking like a repetition of the first round. The over confident Diana has her way with the weakened Lee. Poor Lee is subjected to a punishing leg split leg drop before she's picked up and thrown into the corner once again. Squaring off with Diana once again she's caught in a bone crushing headlock by Diana. Frustrated, Lee manages to elbow her way out of the hold and ram Diana into the corner where Lee is able to drive deep penetrating elbows into Diana's exposed abs. Lee drives huge open handed slaps across Diana's chest and delivers crushing kicks and knee lifts to the taller blonde’s abs. All this return of happiness drops poor Diana face down to the mat in a pile of hurt. Climbing onto Diana's back, Lee pulls back on her chin in a camel clutch sort of way. Leaning forward she drops a huge crashing forearm smash across the hapless Diana's chest. Diana is now experiencing the life and times of the victim as Lee goes to town on her. Rolling Diana over onto her back, Lee straddles her and pounds her head into the mat several times before smashing huge crashing blows to her chest. Dazed and hurt, Diana is pulled up to her feet by her hair, put into a front face lock and bull dogged onto the mat. Almost out of it, Lee once again pulls the hurt Diana up to her feet and grabbing her by the hair in front of her, Lee drives huge knee lifts into Diana's chest and abs which drops her to the mat. Diana lashes out and manages to catch Lee low in the bread basket. Both women are on the mat exchanging punches and jabs. Lee manages to face plant Diana to the mat where she now gets the advantage once again. While Diana lays face down on the mat, Lee hammer locks Diana's left arm and then the right arm. She then rolls Diana on her side where she's now completely defenseless as Lee crashes solid hits and knee grinds to Diana's cruelly exposed abs. The horrible screaming and yelling is unbelievable. Diana is almost a rag doll at this point as she is pulled up to her feet once more to be punched and knee lifted to the chest and abs. Into the ropes, Lee tortures Diana's arm around the rope and slams several huge fists to the side of her head, dazing the blonde beauty as she drops to her knees, barely aware of her surroundings and unable to mount any kind of defense. Lee drops Diana to the mat and claws her belly as the battered Diana moans and groans in pain as Lee screams at her. A couple more hits and slams and Lee takes the round from the nearly unconscious Diana.
Round three starts with Diana barely able to stand. The bell rings and Lee rushes in for the early kill. Poor Diana is barely able to defend herself as Lee puts her into a front face locks and crashes elbows into her back and knee lifts into her battered chest and abs. Lee throws Diana into the corner and double hands tries to choke her out before dragging Diana's face across the ropes. Lee is enraged and in complete control as she tortures and punishes her taller opponent. She slaps Diana is a sitting body scissors and delivers several keister bounces in between bone crushing scissors with her powerful thighs. Poor Diana is rag dolled as Lee punches her from behind and crushes the life out of her. Lee is all about torturing her opponent at this stage as she snap mares her from the corner, knees her in the abs. One cool scene however is when Lee has Diana in the corner, and as she comes in to deliver another crashing knee, Diana catapults out of the corner and clothes lines Lee down to the mat, taking her right off her feet. Nice move! Diana now has the advantage and starts to pay back all the hurt and pain Lee inflicted on her. But even this is short lived as Lee manages to knock her down again. Diana is literally thrown pillar to post as Lee whips her to and fro. Grabbing Diana's long luscious blonde hair in a bundle, Lee uses her opponent's hair to flip her from one end to the other in this small ring. A note about that; because the ring is small, all the flips and tosses have to be 'short' in tossing distance. But this means that the vertical aspect is quite high and the action very snappy to keep it within the confines of the ring. This makes for some awesome snap mares, hip tosses and arm drag take down. You have to see it to believe it. Especially here where Diana is catapulted by her hair. Nice! Lee now drapes Diana across her knew, face down and cruelly assaults her back. Daze, hurt and confused, Diana is brought up to her knees where Lee crashes a huge knee to the side of Diana's face.
Yes, this is where I leave you with the match. The ending is very decisive and VERY well done! If you want to know how it ends, you'll have to purchase the tape or ask someone who has seen it. It's that good. I am so impressed by the abilities and skills of these two gals. From this tape and onto the T27 Sunny Brawlers, I am going to be picking up another one of their newer tapes to see how well these two have progressed. After a while, when working with a partner and knowing their moves and able to anticipate their next step, capable wrestlers can pull off some well timed moves and scenes. I am eager to see some of these as I am confident they can pull it off.
I give this tape a solid 9 Stars for the brilliant ring work these two ladies were able to pull off in the small ring. Excellent grunts and groans and some of the more realistic hard hitting kicks and punches going around. Both women are gorgeous, and they are well trained even this early in their careers. If you saw the previous review T27 Sunny Brawlers you will see how far they progressed and how good they are this early on. A pure treat to the senses and great to watch. Give it a try, you'll not be disappointed with this video if you are a true pro ring style fan or enjoy excellent action.
