Women's Pro Wrestling... The mere words sends shivers down my spine and brutal two on one Women's Pro Wrestling does more than shiver me spine! The talented Brandi Alexander takes on Becca (red head) in this non-refereed match up brought to us by the talented people at Battling Beauties. There is no T&A (tits and ass) in this match. It's all pure pro wrestling at it's succulent best!
Here's a little background to why these two ladies are matching up. Becca was the referee in a match between Brandi and Lexie Fyfe and to put it mildly, she sucked at that job, and that's just what they wanted you to believe. She was actualy in cahoots with Lexie Fyfe to demolish Brandi. There's no love lost between these two.
Brandi's opportunity for revenge comes to her when she's in the ring with Becca and starts to show Becca why she's an All-Star wrestler (Brandi wrestled with WCW in the past). Quickly putting painfull and masterfully applied holds onto Becca, Brandi exacts her revenge on the less experienced rookie, Becca.
Just as Brandi thought she would get to roll up the newbie red head, Lexie Fyfe flies into the ring and knocks Brandi off of Becca and onto the mat. Becca rolls off to the side to lick her wounds while Lexie goes to town on the stunned Brandi. After several well executed holds, Brandi manages to turn the tables on Lexie and gives her a going over and finaly sits in behind Lexie and crushes her with a powerful body scissor that leaves Lexie squirming in pain...
At this point Becca joins in the fray and slaps a sleeper hold on Brandi from behind and starts to put the hapless lass to sleep. Lexie now breaks out of the scissors and walks around to the side and as Brandi is about to drop off to la-la land she drops a few heavy hay makers to the half-concious lass's abs! Becca exclaims "aww now you're waking her up!".
At this point it's curtains and trouble for Brandi with a capital T! Lexie grabs Barndi's arm while Becca attacks her legs. Each taking turns punishing the poor gal. Lexie figures it now time to start teaching Becca the finer points of wrestling by using the defensless Brandi as their punching bag. Lexie knows her holds and manouvers as she takes us and Becca around the spectrum of painfull and punishing holds and hits. Lexie would demonstrate the hold or move and after crashing down on Brandi she would hand over the damaged appendage to Becca to try it out. Brandi moans in semi-conscious pain.
There are some unbelievably awesome holds and moves in this match, you have to see them to believe it. Within the picture gallery you see poor Brandi rolled up across the top of Lexie's knee in a suspended back breaker. If THAT wasn't bad enough, Becca slams huges hits across her cruely exposed and tautly stretched abs. WOW. Remember where I said Eve Ellis wails like none other? Brandi gives a whole new perspective to a woman desperate to have the pain and suffering end.
But the piece de resistance is the final move. I won't even go through the details. I will make you have to see it for yourself. Needless to say, just HEARING the audio track of this sequence is exquisit! I kid you not. I video clipped the scene for myself to watch poor Brandi suffer eternaly. Yeah, what a teaser of an ending but it's worth it folks. If you are the quintisential pro fem wrestlng fan you'll know where I am coming from.
When this tape started and I saw for the first time how small the ring was I was disapointed. "What the heck can they possibly do in THIS small area?!" Ha, they show you how well they can use up every square inch of this ring. Ropes, turnbuckles and pounding mat are all used and used effectively. And just like in the pro matches of old, "HAIR ref HAIR!!" gets shouted in their other matches. The moaning, groaning, huffing and puffing is something only a well trained pro fem wrestler can do. And when exhaustion sets in from the incessant beating, only Brandi can make it look like she's death warmed over. Which of course she is after the severe 2 on 1 savage and brutal beating she takes from both Lexie Fyfe and Becca.
CT 09 Brandi's Revenge was a pure delight to watch over and over. There is never a dull moment, the holds are held long enough to savour, the hits are solid enough to feel the thuds and the spectacular holds wiill simply blow you away. There are few companies putting out videos of this genre and I would easily say that Battling Beauties have set the standard to meet or exceed. When you see Lexie Fyfe and Brandi Alexander battle it out in the ring, you appreciate the hard training and proffesionalism these women display. Truely a joy to watch. Brandi does the excellent "jobber" role here and Lexie does the heel role so well, grimacing her way through some great one liners to humiliate her hapless victim.
I easily and happily rate this particular match a solid 9 Stars. I've seen a couple of their other matches and they are equaly outstanding. But I chose this one to review only because of the two awesome holds I "teased" you about. Take note though, their write up about this match doesn't do it justice. It's wilder than they make it out to be!
